Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

Danika Brown isn’t looking for romance in Take a Hint, Dani Brown, the second book in Talia Hibbert‘s The Brown Sisters series. She’s got three things on her mind: success, academic renown, and some good old-fashioned stress relief in the sheets. Romance has never quite panned out for Dani.

Doesn’t matter the gender of the person Dani’s dated, they all tend to fall into two categories: a distraction or a drain. So, really, all she wants is a friends-with-benefits situation. Enter Zafir Ansari.

Zaf gallantly saves Dani from a fire drill gone wrong at work. The rugby player turned security guard is exactly who Dani is looking for to blow off some steam. Too bad the internet gets to him before she can. When #DrRugbae goes viral, Dani and Zaf get caught in the middle.

Dani’s supposed to be focusing on earning her PhD, and the whole point of not having a relationship was to keep from getting distracted. But when Zaf asks Dani to play along to help his sports charity for kids, she agrees. Who could turn down helping kids? Nothing like a little strategic lying to shine the spotlight on a good cause.

Besides, faking a relationship with Zaf gives Dani time to seduce him. Zaf’s not going to make it easy for her. Turns out her number one pick for a friend- with-benefits entanglement is a hopeless romantic and he’s determined to break through her shell.

But Zaf has a shell of his own to crack, and what started out as a simple plan for them both becomes steadily complicated. What’s a pair of non-dating, romantic opposites supposed to do when more than convenience is tying them together? Perhaps take a hint.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown will be available in print, audio, and e-book format June 23.
