What to watch on Netflix: The Lovebirds, The Flash, and everything else you can enjoy over the long weekend

The Big Flower Fight Season 1
May is for flowers. We know this because of the children’s rhyme, so of course this is the month Netflix would release The Big Flower Fight. Competition television brings out the judge in us all, whether it’s food, fashion … or foliage in the case of this floral challenge.
The Big Flower Fight follows 10 pairs of amateur floral sculptors from around the world. The contestants are competing to win the coveted prize of having a sculpture of their own design on display at Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.
Each episode, the competitors will be tested on a different skill set that they have to incorporate into the theme of the challenge they’re facing that week. Their structures are expected to be big, beautiful, and well-crafted. They are also encouraged to be environmentally conscious about their plant selection.
The competition is hosted by Vic Reeves (Vic Reeves’ Big Night Out) and Natasia Demetriou (What We Do in the Shadows), but contestants are judged by florist Kristen Griffith-VanderYacht and a special co-judge each challenge.
In Kristen’s words:
"“This isn’t your basic bunch of blooms. This is the real deal. So buckle up and get your shovel ready for some farm fresh floral fantasy realness!”"
