7. The Magic School Bus

Did anyone else have Magic School Bus day at their school? There would be one day a week where instead of listening to the teacher, we would watch an episode of The Magic School Bus instead and it was by far my favorite day of the week. It’s hard for any teacher to be as cool as Ms. Frizzle. She has a magic bus that allows you to go anywhere and even shrink in size, if necessary!

The show was brilliant because of how it almost tricked kids into learning. It was fun, humorous, and entertaining enough that you learned while having a good time.

Each episode focused on one topic and the kids in Ms. Frizzle’s class would go on an adventure to solve a problem and learn something new. At times, that meant going to a new location or as happens in one episode, it meant going inside one of the students to see why they were sick. Ew!

While there’s a new version of the show on Netflix, nothing can really beat the original.
