10. Tiny Toon Adventures

The Looney Tunes are a classic cartoon on any list. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky the Pig are icons that are apart of so many childhoods. But in 1990, Steven Spielberg executive produced a younger version of these classic cartoons called Tiny Toon Adventures.

The premise of the show was that in the town of Acme Acres there’s a university (Acme Looniversity) that teaches the young cartoon characters how to be funny. The teachers consist of the classic characters we all know and love, including Bugs, Porky, and Sylvester the Cat.

But the show mainly focuses on the students which include Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny (no relation), Plucky Duck, Hamilton J. Pig, and Fifi La Plume. As you can see, they’re slightly different versions of the originals.

Each episode focuses on a current event from the time or on a specific issue like self-esteem or crime. The show also uses the same comedic devices as the Looney Tunes, so there were tones of  anvils dropping, explosives, and holes appearing out of nowhere`.

If you like the original, it’s worth checking out this version. You can find it streaming on Hulu.
