Last Girls by Demetra Brodsky

Demetra Brodsky is releasing her second novel this May, and with its focus on preparing for the end of the world, it may hit a little close to home right now — or it could be the perfect way to cope. Last Girls tells the story of Honey Juniper and her sisters, all of whom are training for the end of times.

The girls are training at a secret compound in Washington, but none of them is expecting the end of the world to start right then and there. Unfortunately, that appears to be exactly what happens, forcing the sisters to put their skills to the test.

The synopsis for Last Girls teases a story with suspense and uncertainty, reading:

"“But when danger strikes from within, putting her sisters at risk, training becomes real life, and only one thing is certain: Nowhere is safe.”"

Even the synopsis has us wanting to know more, so it’s likely Last Girls will be one of those stories that’s difficult to put down.

Last Girls is available in print, ebook, and audiobook formats starting May 5.
