When it comes to fun fashion collections for plus size women, Torrid knows how to deliver. And their current collab with Disney has us under the sea.
If there is one thing we can count on from Torrid, it is the fact that bring us some of the cutest collaborations and collections. And considering how often they seem to take their inspiration from Disney, it probably comes as no surprise that they have released a perfect princess collection for those of us obsessed with characters like Belle, Snow White, and Ariel.
As a fan of The Little Mermaid, I was so excited to see on the Torrid website that the current Disney collection has the company taking inspiration from none other than Ariel, our favorite mermaid princess.
While this particular collection from Torrid may not be as big as some of the other ones that the company has released, it is actually rather perfect. In fact, I think that the six pieces that make up this Disney Princess collection are everything we could have hoped for.
Not only is there a two piece swimsuit that you can snag to transform yourself into a mermaid (this actually counts as two pieces in the collection since they are sold separately), but there is an epic satin bomber jacket and even a jumpsuit that is perfect for everything from work to parties and brunch.
The bomber jacket is definitely my favorite piece in the collection, as it is perfect for showing off your love of the Little Mermaid, while also being cozy and stylish. It’s a triple threat of fashion, and that makes it a must have piece. Joining the jacket at the top of the epic list is actually the mini skirt that features an amazing mermaid tail scales print. It’s fun, flirty, and perfect for summer.
With this Disney princess collection ranging from $44.50 to $79.50, you don’t necessarily have to break the bank or your budget to channel your inner Ariel. And whether you snag one piece or all six, this is definitely the perfect Torrid collection to kick off summer with, even if you are just snagging these pieces to wear at home.
