The Good Place
Though it just came to an end, The Good Place is a delightful philosophical comedy from Mike Schur that makes for a quick but impactful binge. When four humans (and one demon trying to atone for his actions) are thrown into the afterlife together, they are forced to put aside their differences to solve some of life’s biggest questions.
Sense8
If there was ever a show to remind you of the power of human connection, this is it. A Netflix original that was cut far too short — but received a satisfying ending thanks to a mass fan campaign — Sense8 explores the lives of eight individuals from around the world who share a consciousness together. I know, it’s crazy. This show will move you in ways you didn’t know possible and will fill that void inside of you that yearns for a deeper understanding of the universe.
Boy Meets World
Whether you watched it every day after school growing up or never gave this ’90s classic a try, it’s time to heal your soul and binge some Boy Meets World (conveniently available to you now on Disney+). This feel-good sitcom touches on all the obstacles that come with growing up, from insecurity and peer pressure to classism and loss. If you’re feeling stuck or alone in life, Mr. Feeny will guide the way.
