What else can be said about The Good Place that hasn’t been said already? We’re all bummed it’s ending after four seasons but happy that it’s happening on the creator’s and writers’ own terms.
In case you missed it, here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode:

So. We’ve made it to the Good Place. The real one this time. Everything has been wrapped up in a neat little package and eternity looks incredibly satisfying after all of the trials and tribulations Team Cockroach/the Soul Squad has gone through in the afterlife.
But. There are still two episodes remaining this season. Which means it’s not all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows for eternity.
Does something go wrong with the new afterlife system? Can the Judge rescind her final ruling and take them away from the Good Place? Or can the new afterlife system fail and she decides to reset the universe anyway?
Actually, that second one makes sense. That could happen in the first episode tonight and the second episode is the universe resetting and rebuilding itself and yet we somehow still end up where we were to start the show.
Because you know Michael would search out our four humans again, even with all the odds stacked against him.
No matter what happens in this series finale, be prepared with a box of tissues next to you.
