Travel Tuesday: Peacock Live! is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood

Have you wanted to visit the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot? At Peacock Live!, everyone gets a glimpse inside those popular NBCUniversal platforms.

Have you heard about Peacock Live? The new interactive fandom event at Universal Studios Hollywood will have fans making a special trip to the Universal theme park. Whether you want to get up close and personal with NBC programming or want to step into your favorite movies, this fan experience will have people booking their trip to Hollywood.

While theme parks continue to evolve, Universal understands that its fan base wants interactive events that bring fans closer to their fandom. Although the fully immersive experiences make fans feel as if they have stepped into those Wizarding Worlds, fans are wanting even more.

Peacock Live! is a new event for NBCUniversal. It is described as “an immersive and interactive two-day fan festival showcasing the best of the company’s past, present and future.” The event will be held March 28-29, 2020.

In addition to general admission to Universal Studios Hollywood, guests will get after-hours access to the park. If you have never been to a theme park after it closes, that aspect can be a big draw for many.

Of course, the special activations and interactions will be the biggest draw for fans. From NBC television shows to Universal movies, there is something for everyone.

Here are a few highlights that shouldn’t be missed.

The Voice

Have you ever wanted to sit in those judges’ chairs on The Voice? Everyone will have an opportunity to take a spin in those red chairs. While there might not be an amazing voice singing when you turn around, you can use your imagination.

TODAY

Although Universal Studios Florida has the Today Café, Peacock Live! will be hosting Al Roker at the event. While he may not bring his infamous chicken sandwich there, everyone can do a #MyTODAYPlaza moment and maybe be featured on a show.

2020 Tokyo Olympics

As the world watches world class athletes compete in the ultimate sporting competition, this event will feature some of the new sports joining Olympic glory. Skateboarders and sport climbers will be showcasing their talents. If you are sporting enough, you could even try these sports yourself.

Fast & Furious

One of the biggest draws of this franchise is the cars. During this special event, the “largest vehicle collection” from the franchise will be on display. Plus, fans will get a sneak peak of vehicles from the upcoming film installment.

Lastly, fans will get to chat with Dennis McCarthy, Picture Car Coordinator. This event allows fans to finally get answers to all their burning Fast & Furious questions.

Trolls World Tour

The colorful world of Trolls is back. During this special event, fans will get to experience “Trolls World Tour” before it hits theaters. Also, fans can do a meet and greet with Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond or be transformed into a Troll themselves.

Halloween Horror Nights experience

Every year, Halloween Horror Nights knows what scares guests. During Peacock Live!, guests will get to chat with the creative team behind the frights. If you have ever wondered what it takes to bring these interactive haunted houses and mazes to life, this event is your chance.

Making of a theme park attraction

Universal has become a leader in highly immersive theme park experiences. The re-design of the Jurassic World ride is a great example.

During this panel, guests will hear from the creative minds behind these theme park experiences. From bringing movies worlds into the real world to the next generation of thrill rides, there is nothing that Universal cannot achieve.
