There is a lot to unpack in this week’s Watchmen, and they’re going to have quite the journey to get there. The last we saw, the fate of Wade — or “Looking Glass” — was up in the air, and Angela was going to jail with all the memories of her grandfather in her mind, despite being told that it was a bad idea.
Oh right, and Ozymandias just managed to get to space by catapulting himself there. In a strange turn of events, Adrian was seemingly throwing all his clones that he made into space without the proper equipment so that he could somehow get to Dr. Manhattan? What ever happened to that play he was writing?
Through all this, it seems as if some answers are coming our way — primarily, what the Seventh Kalvary really is. Basically, the government is just controlling them and the police so that there is some kind of peace between them, even if the Seventh Kalvary is causing enough of a stir that the FBI is involved.
We’re going to have to focus our energy on Angela this week, though, as she learns more about herself and her family. And hopefully, that’s what this week focuses on — because we deserve to know more about where she came from and what happened in her past to help her become Sister Night.
