Watchmen: This week’s preview shows that everything is still up in the air
With the arrival of Laurie Blake in last week’s episode, it seemed as if Watchmen was going to start to figure out everything happening in Tulsa — but maybe not.
This week on Watchmen, who knows what’s happening? There are a whole bunch of new characters making their way into Tulsa, and, from the looks of this episode’s preview, it seems as if Angela and Laurie are actually working together — seemingly in a way that isn’t pitting them against one another.
What we know from last week is that Laurie knows about Judd’s past and his involvement with the KKK to some degree. She’s suspicious, and the fact that Angela knows is probably going to be important to their relationship. The trailer even shows her trying to get rid of it for Judd and herself.

So now that we can see the confusion that may permeate this next episode, what can we figure out? Well, Ozymandias is still trying to create some kind of contraption to, I’m assuming, talk to Dr. Manhattan. But instead of going into the city to talk to him on one of those phone booth things, he’s just going to sling shot his messages into space?
This episode preview, more than any of the previous ones, seems to be showing us how everything is up in the air and a bit all over the place. Everyone is trying to figure out their next move, and that results in bit of a hodgepodge of stories.
When is everything going to tie together? Well, if the television show is going based off the graphic novel, we’ll probably have a little while left still. But it is going to be interesting to see how this episode leads into the later half of the first season.
