The Good Place has plenty left to offer us in its last half-dozen or so episodes. Which means things are probably going to go very poorly for everyone involved.

Or the Bad Place thugs are going to show up and wreck havoc and we’re going to start all over again from the beginning.

In case you missed it, the official synopsis for tonight’s episode:

"“On the last day of the experiment, Chidi is faced with one final ethical dilemma.”"

There’s a lot at stake in this week’s episode, especially jumping forward six months to the end of the experiment. And with how last week ended, we don’t know if our team made it through the hurdle of Brent’s belligerence and Chidi’s punch to the face. Did he ever apologize to the group? Did the group ever forgive him?

And the title of the episode–“Help Is Other People”–seems like a step in a good direction. But could that mean Bad Janet? I can’t see her showing up just yet, as she just disappeared back to the Bad Place last episode, even if there’s a six-month time jump.

With only so many episodes left in its final season, The Good Place has no shortage of questions to answer and certainly can drag us in any direction it wants to. Because it’s always been good at throwing us for a loop.
