The finale of AHS: 1984 is only a week away and many fans are still holding out hope for a huge twist. Will tonight’s penultimate episode deliver?
With only two episodes left, three to four current-or-former murderers in the mix, an angry mob of teen ghosts, and a Billy Idol concert at Camp Redwood that will (re)unite them all, tonight’s episode of AHS: 1984 has a lot to take care of. Just last week, new motives emerged, new backstories colored the pasts and futures of our beloved, damaged campers (and their pursuers), new friendships emerged, old rivalries were re-stoked, and we’re still potentially dealing with the big reality that we may be facing a season-shifting twist at any moment. So will it be tonight?
In the episode’s preview, we’re reminded that The Night Stalker, who has risen to power (ish) once again with the backing of Satan himself, is not messing around. Simultaneously, however, and much more interestingly, Brooke and Donna have officially had it with all of these men’s nonsense. Watch below as Brooke preps to be our final girl.
While we’ve had small smatterings of hints that this season could be connected to something larger, a current theory is that Brooke is really a character in a horror movie, and she’s being played by none other than Madison Montgomery, Emma Roberts’ character from season 3, Coven. So will tonight be the night we finally become privy to the tricks up Ryan Murphy’s sleeve? The official synopsis, as always, is about as trope-y and bland as the back of a romance novel in a waiting room.

No matter what happens, tonight’s episode is sure to set us up for a wild, if not completely satisfying, finale next week.
