In its seventh episode of the season, AHS: 1984 brings all of its players back to Camp Redwood for the start of a final showdown.

With only three episodes left to go on AHS: 1984 and the stakes higher than ever, it’s no surprise that we now find ourselves hurtling toward a finale that’s sure to be of the most epic proportions.

As of last week, only a handful of our season’s starting lineup remain alive, and even fewer are willing to fight in the pursuit of good. Plus, at least one is just straight up working for the devil himself. And now, with Margaret Booth re-opening Redwood for commercial gain, the wronged campers’ souls trapped and hungry for revenge within those very same walls, and the rest of the crew rushing from wherever they are in the United States to make it to the party, we better get ready for three full episodes’ worth of high drama, bloodshed, and if we’re lucky (and, according to the official synopsis, we might be), the reveal of  some big secrets

"A hidden chapter of Camp Redwood is revealed. The survivors help a stranded hitchhiker."

Check out episode 7’s preview below:

While we haven’t gotten word yet on any official crossover, I will tell you what I know to be true, both from previous episodes and from the above trailer:

-Mr. Jingles was kept in an institution and given aggressive electro-shock treatment: the very same treatment used to terrorize Lana Winters in American Horror Story season 2’s Asylum.

-Margaret Booth, it has been revealed, is now the owner of several morbid, true-crime locations, which she’s turned into B&B experiences. One of those buildings? Briarcliff Manor, the actual Asylum itself.

-In this week’s trailer, Dylan McDermott (the stranded hitchhiker, presumably) appears to have weaseled his way into the group. As he drives toward Camp Redwood with DeeDee and Brooke, the thing they may want to keep in mind is that a previous character played by McDermott turned out to be not only the son of Bloody Face — the serial murderer in Asylum — but a copycat killer in his own right. Brooke’s cry at the end of the trailer— “Where do you psychos keep coming from?” — makes me think that, within the timeline of the AHS universe, in 1984, the Son of Bloody Face could still be just beginning his murder streak.

What will happen? We’ll have to tune in and see.
