The final Star Wars trailer drops Monday, and tickets are going on sale!
October 21 is going to be a big day for Star Wars fans, with the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker dropping and tickets for the film finally going on sale.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is getting nearer and nearer, and that means plenty of fans are getting antsy — after all, we’ve been waiting to see how the third trilogy concludes for a long time now. And given that Episode IX will also close out the Skywalker Saga as a whole, this movie has a lot to live up to — hence the impatience on all of our parts.
But fans eager to see the film are officially a few steps closer to doing so. For one, we’ll be getting some new footage in the final trailer for the movie, which officially has a release date: this Monday! It was leaked that the trailer would drop during Monday Night Football on ESPN, but a Tweet from Walt Disney Studios more or less confirmed it.

And if new footage wasn’t enough to reignite fans’ excitement about The Rise of Skywalker, there’s more good news: Tickets for the new Star Wars film will also go on sale on October 21, making it a big day for anyone eager to return to a galaxy far, far away…
Given that Star Wars films have frequently topped the charts when it comes to presales tickets (The Force Awakens actually caused ticket sites to crash, much like Avengers: Endgame earlier this year), it’s probably best for fans to grab tickets early — especially if they’re planning on seeing the movie during opening week. And let’s be honest, who’s willing to wait much longer than that?
