8. Cruella de Vil

Sometimes we forget that Disney villains can be just as bad and evil as any other movie bad guy, but in the case of a character like Cruella de Vil, the reality is that she is truly not a good person. After all, her mission in life is to skin puppies for their fur. And that might just make her one of the worst movie villains out there, male or female.

Of all the villains to grace the big screen in a Disney movie (animated or live action), Cruella de Vil might just be one of the worst offenders. Not only does she have no problem stealing puppies and dogs, but her plans for them are even more heinous.

It feels impossible to ever find a way to redeem Cruella, and even though some have tried (I’m looking at you ABC’s Once Upon a Time), the reality is that here is a villain with very little conscience. Throughout 101 Dalmatians, it is clear that her life’s mission is to get her hands on all of the Dalmatians she possibly can, including stealing from her own employee. And why does she want these puppies? To make a fur coat of course.

Seriously, of all the victims to have, puppies and children have to be the worst. We don’t want defenseless animals being hurt for any reason. And we all know that the fastest way to have people turn against you is to hurt the dog in a movie. So, it absolutely makes sense that Cruella de Vil is one of those ultimate villains, especially since her entire purpose is killing puppies for their fur.
