OK, these are two excellent offerings for Playstation Plus members. If you wanted to get distracted the moment school/classes start, then you’re in luck! Let’s take a look at them both…
Batman: Arkham Knight is the third game in the Arkham series, one of the most solid series of video games available. It was released in 2015 to much praise, and it is such a good game. It brings such a sense of finality to the series that it’s hard to find many glaring faults with it.
The only detriment to playing this game is if you’ve never played any of the other Arkham games, it may take you some time to adjust to the controls and catch up with the story line. But if you’re a Batman fan or just want to go up against all of the iconic baddies (Scarecrow, Two-Face, Harley Quinn just to name three), you’ll be hooked on this one.
Darksiders 3 is also the third game in the Darksiders series. And it shouldn’t be too surprising that this is one of the offerings, as the fourth game, Darksiders Genesis comes out later this year on consoles and PC.
Darksiders 3 is a straight-up action game that happens to throw old-school challenges your way as you progress through the game. It can stall you out at times and make you feel like you’re playing a Dark Souls game; until you figure out the perfect way to beat the challenge, you’re SOL.
Again, like Arkham Knight, it may be difficult to jump right into this game if you haven’t played the first two, but if you’re looking for something straightforward and a little mindless, this one’s a good option.
And don’t forget, you still have a few days to download the August PlayStation Plus offerings!
