Bindi Irwin

Over the years since Steve Irwin’s death, his memory has lived on thanks to not only his activist work, but also because of his family. In particular, his daughter Bindi Irwin has been a strong advocate for conservation and animal rights.

At 20 years old, Bindi Irwin has continued the work of her late father. She posts pictures of herself with a variety of animals in an effort to raise awareness, and has even worked on a documentary about wildlife called Bindi the Jungle Girl (although this documentary began when her father was still alive and he was actually a part of the project).

As someone who wants to continue her family’s legacy, Irwin also donates a percentage of her earnings from any acting roles or appearances to the charity that her family founded, Wildlife Warriors. The charity attempts to educate people around the world about protecting wildlife that is endangered, injured, or just generally threatened by humans.

With such an impressive goal for her life, it makes sense that Bindi Irwin would have to make any list of women making a difference in the world. And when you think about the fact that she has been doing this since she was a child, it makes Irwin even more inspirational as someone who is not only under 30, but who has continued to speak up in an effort to advocate for animals.
