Keanu Reeves is humbled by his new status of the new internet boyfriend
Keanu Reeves has become the designated boyfriend of the internet, thanks in part to his humble personality. But don’t worry, it’s not getting to his head.
Keanu Reeves has been a hot topic as of late. With his cameo in the romcom Always Be My Maybe to his electrifying E3 appearance, the internet can’t seem to get enough of him. In fact, the internet as a whole has designated the never-aging actor as everyone’s favorite internet boyfriend. This would be very overwhelming for some, and some may even let it get to their heads. But the always calm and collected Reeves was humbled by it.
While speaking with People‘s Melody Chiu at the Toy Story 4 red carpet, Reeves commented, “I’ve been what? I didn’t know that… That’s wacky. The positivity is great. It’s really special how [Always Be My Maybe and John Wick 3] have been embraced.”
Reeve’s has had an incredible year thus far, with Always Be My Maybe and John Wick Chapter 3, and we’re absolutely getting more of him in the not too distant future. Reeves lends his voice to the new character Duke Caboom — a Canadian stuntman toy with some seriously articulated points — in the highly anticipated Toy Story 4, the conclusion to the Toy Story franchise.
He also will be a character in the upcoming video game, Cyberpunk 2077, as announced at this year’s E3. The game should arrive next April, and has some seriously impressive graphics. In fact, this is arguably the best looking Keanu Reeves avatar we’ve ever seen in a video game. There’s also a new Bill and Ted film in the works, after decades of wondering what our favorite time hopping dudes are up too. As I’ve said before, we are most certainly in the year of Keanu Reeves.
