Another E3 has come, and in its wake we have a few highlights that are causing a scene online! Let’s take a look at what you may have missed.

E3 had some impressive highlights this year, including celebrity cameos, new consoles, and video game remakes that either fill you with excitement or rage.

Microsoft reveals Xbox Project Scarlett

Microsoft revealed that they would be introducing a new generation of Xbox, which is currently being called Scarlett, with a release date of holiday 2020. Alongside the new console will be Halo Infinite, the latest addition to the Halo series. The new console will also be four times faster than previous consoles, with 8K resolution. Other than that, Xbox fans will just have to wait until Microsoft reveals more details.

Cyberpunk 2077 makes waves for one reason, and one reason alone

As we said before, this is the year of Keanu Reeves. When he took to the stage at E3, fans were noticeably over the moon. He presented everyone’s new must have game, Cyberpunk 2077, in which he has a (beautiful) cameo. The game is due out next April.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake

Fans of one of the most popular Final Fantasy games of all time went bananas when Square Enix showed off more details of the highly anticipated remake. I did play the original when it came out, and I’ll be honest — I’m probably going to buy this game. Plus, a whole new legion of fans will be falling for Sephiroth. I can hardly wait.

Marvel’s Avengers also gets a release date

This may not excite everyone, but Square also announced new details, and a release date, for Marvel’s Avengers. PS4 owners will get a chance to play a demo of the game in the near future, so if you’re on the fence about the game, this might be the best way to test it out.

Nintendo drops a Zelda bomb

Nintendo gave fans some things to look forward to in the upcoming months, including a sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild announced as being in development. No release date was given.

Banjo-Kazooie (yes, that classic character of the ’90s) will become a playable character in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, alongside The Hero from Dragon Quest.
