As far as television soundtracks go, Victorious definitely had a catchy one that included a lot of empowering and inspiring songs. And none are more inspirational than “Make it Shine,” the theme song for the series. After all, even the title of the song is enough to remind us that we need to shine bright like stars.

With lyrics like, “You don’t have to be afraid to put your dream in action. You’re never gonna fade, you’ll be the main attraction,” you know this song is all about actually following your dreams and showing the world how amazing you are.

As someone who watched Victorious (and saw Ariana Grande get her start thanks to the Nickelodeon show), I always found this song to be truly inspiring. It reminded me that it is always important to follow all of your dreams. And not just that, but it is all about shining no matter what it is you are doing or trying to achieve.

For me, this song was a reminder that I need to chase my dreams. And, considering I do what I love, I think it has been the kind of motivation I needed. If you don’t want to get up and dance while also being inspired to chase your goals after listening to this song, then we may need to find another inspirational song about chasing your dreams. But, really this is going to become a favorite female inspirational song.
