Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Hogsmeade, there are a few attractions, along with the highly anticipated Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. If you’re looking for something extra magical look no further than the gates of Hogwarts Castle where Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is.
Before getting on the ride, the queue takes guests through Hogwarts, complete with a tour of Dumbledore’s office, talking portraits, and the Sorting Hat. We love that you can see a life-size replica of Dumbledore’s office, and even see the headmaster as you walk by. You’ll also walk through the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, the Gryffindor common room, and the Room of Requirement before boarding.
Once getting on the ride, you’ll be off as Harry Potter takes you through the castle grounds while he plays a game of quidditch against Slytherin House. Throughout the journey, guests will encounter different magical creatures such as dragons and giant spiders. Be sure to watch out for the Whomping Willow as well.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is an intense attraction that might not be suitable for all guests, especially if you get motion sickness or have a fear of dark enclosed spaces. There is a height requirement of 48 inches, and the ride does offer rider swap. You’re also going to want to leave all of your things in a free locker since the ride vehicle does move you around quite a bit and you don’t want to lose anything while riding.
