Floral print minidress
When Mindy Kaling attended the POPSUGAR event in New York City in June of 2018, she wore a gorgeous floral print mini dress that was a vibrant pop of color. She paired the shimmery stunner with simple, white heels that allowed the dress to be the true star of the look.
Although we may not be able to get the dress that the actress wore (which is a bummer with how lovely it is), that doesn’t mean we can’t be inspired by it. In fact, there are any number of options on the market that will let you channel Kaling’s sense of style. We narrowed our choices down to the following two, which still give us the vibrant colors, as well as the floral print.
The first floral dress I picked inspired by Kaling is the Vince Camuto Floral and Stripe Fit & Flare Dress from Nordstrom. The dress has a lot of subtle color to go along with the floral pattern. And at $148, this dress is a nice addition to your wardrobe from a fabulous designer.
Our other option also comes from Nordstrom, although this particular dress has a solid black top, the skirt has the same flare as the inspiration piece, as well as the brocade look. The Morgan & Co. Fit & Flare Dress gives us a floral skirt and comes in at $79. This dress has a romantic feel to it and would be perfect for date night.
