Crowley and the burning ring of fire

When it comes to the start of an apocalypse, it makes sense that there would be a burning ring of fire somewhere. And of course, the reason for that fire is none other than Crowley and his own demonic need to wreak havoc.

While he may not have planned for the ring to cause problems for himself, that is exactly what happens as he tries to get to the anti-Christ before the end of the world. Instead of being stopped, however, Crowley embraces his demonic life and chooses to ride straight through the fire.

Although the fire destroys another demon in the car, that doesn’t stop him from thinking positive and actually making it to the other side of the fire. Even as his car is engulfed in flames, two police officers waiting on the other side of the ring watch in shock as the demon drives on by them, waving almost gleefully.

Even as he pulls into the town to get to the airfield base to stop the apocalypse, his car continues to burn, meaning that for once we truly get to see Crowley in all of his demonic glory.

Whether it is the burning car or the actual ring of fire that makes this moment so fantastic, everything about this scene is impressive. (Of course, we have to admit that his poor car has certainly seen better days on Good Omens.)
