As far as big and fantastic moments in Good Omens, seeing Adam confronting his true father, the Devil, has to be one of the greatest. While the Devil is larger than life in more ways than one, in the face of his son, it feels like he is truly small.

Although Satan is there to confront his son and call him out for not kickstarting the apocalypse the way he is “supposed” to, Adam is not having any of that. In fact, this is his moment to stand up to his absentee father and let him know that his true dad is the man who raised him.

In this moment, Adam is not only standing up for himself, but also the entire world. It’s an epic moment of truth and acceptance as the former anti-Christ embraces his humanity and accepts that the man who raised him is his father, and not the devil.
