"Jon: You have your Needle? Arya: Right here"

Well, would you look at the time? It’s feels o’clock! Jon says this line to Arya right before he heads off to join the Night’s Watch once again. But what makes this quote so emotional is that it mirrors the exact moment Jon left Arya for the Night’s Watch in season 1.

Before leaving, he has Needle made just for her as a gift. Of course, that’s the moment he tells her “First lesson, stick them with the pointy end.” They both embrace similar to how they do in the series finale, and you can tell it’s one of the more refined moments of the show that the writers really put a lot of care into.

The story has always been about the Stark family, and the closing scenes brought everything full-circle. The Starks got their happy ending, at least, so what more could we ask for?
