Killing Eve season 2 episode 7 live stream: Watch online

The brand-new season of Killing Eve continues this Sunday. Here’s everything you need to know to watch “Wide Awake” online and not miss a minute.

Villanelle embraced a new mission for MI-6 on Killing Eve, going undercover as a bored American dilettante to get closer to murderer and suspected weapons dealer Aaron Peel.

(In case you were curious, the show still hasn’t bothered to really explain how or why Villanelle’s work with MI-6 is possible, nor has it addressed how come no one seems to be interested in, say, arresting her any longer.)

But, Villanelle undercover is pretty entertaining. And to be fair, Jodie Comer is doing some of her best work of the as the assassin shifts between real and fake personas. So, it’s not all bad. Even if this particular plot twist requires some serious suspension of disbelief.

Now that Villanelle – or “Billie” as she’s known in this disguise – has apparently infiltrated her way into the Peel family, who knows what will happen, for good or ill. (One has to assume that punching Aaron in the face with a book is maybe not something he’s going to mind.)

And the official synopsis confirms that Villanelle is getting in deeper with the Peel investigation. And that may not be a good thing.

"Villanelle dives deep into the dangerous world of her target under the guise of her newfound persona, Billie. Eve may have worrying competition for Villanelle’s affections."

As for Eve, it looks like she’s maybe finally starting to acknowledge that Villanelle’s obsession goes both ways. At least, if the preview for “Wide Awake” is anything to go by.

There are only two episodes left in Killing Eve season 2. (How??!) So I suspect we might all want to prepare ourselves for some shocks.
