5. Doctor Poison

Doctor Poison may have been a more minor villain in Wonder Woman, but we think she was pure evil. Here is a woman who genuinely enjoys inflicting pain on other people. She willingly and almost happily agreed to work with General Ludendorff in order to create an ultimate chemical weapon for the war.

Honestly, the more pain her poison could inflict, the better it seemed to be for her. And that right there is enough to make her one of the more sinister villains out there in the DCEU.

Doctor Poison is truly the opposite of Wonder Woman. She is everything the superhero is not. And it is what makes her stand out from the crowd, even as a minor villain.

Her role may not have been big, but she made an impact. And honestly, there was no reason for her to have a larger role in the film. As far as villains go, she was exactly what was needed. She can’t rank higher because she was not a major villain. But, she also did not make sense as a more central antagonist for Wonder Woman. Basically, that part was perfect and Doctor Poison was the villain that was needed.

That being said, we can never forget that this was a woman who thrived on the suffering of others. She was pure evil and that is why she really is quite sinister in her own way. Her final moments in the movie were perfection in many ways. And it is part of what made Wonder Woman work so well for the DCEU.
