Black Hawk Down

Black Hawk Down is a war film based on the real battle that took place in 1993 in the Somali capital of Mogadishu. When U.S. soldiers on Black Hawk helicopters are tasked to capture two lieutenants of a renegade warlord, they find themselves in a pickle when the helicopters are shot down by the Somali government. Tensions escalate as the men are attacked without knowing if they will find their way to safety. Coster-Waldau plays Master Sergeant Gary Gordon who is inserted in a rescue mission at the crash site.
