Arya

"Sandor, thank you."

Now this… THIS is the best moment in the episode, hands down.

For one of the first times in her life, Arya backed down from a fight. But it was at Sandor Clegane’s request. Things had gotten so absolutely out of hand by the time Arya and the Hound made it to the Red Keep that the Hound knew she had to turn it around.

Cersei was already a dead woman walking, and the Hound knew that Arya would only hurt herself if she went after Cersei any further. But he still had a match against his brother, the Mountain.

It was almost as if Arya knew this would be her last time seeing the Hound, and so she thanked him for everything he’s done. It was a sweet moment, especially knowing that the Hound did risk his life to kill his brother.

Arya lived because of his advice, and we thank him for that.
