Ignoring what happened to Cersei and Jaime, there was one sweet moment that happened between two Lannister siblings that didn’t make me want to cringe.
When Jaime was held prisoner by Daenerys’ army, Tyrion was able to speak to his brother and offer him a means of escape. Tyrion, for some reason, thought it’d be noble of Jaime to escape King’s Landing with Cersei… And somehow, with Cersei abandoning the throne, the people would choose Daenerys. Then Dany would sing Tyrion’s praises for coming up with The Best Plan Ever and not kill him.
Yeah, we don’t know what fantasy world Tyrion was living in. But at least he got his brother to trust him, and they shared one last tender moment before Jaime died. We knew this happy ending would foretell at least one of them dying, though. Just think back to literally every happy moment in this season so far.
