Met Gala 2019: 16 of the campiest looks of the night

There are not many celebrities who are going to wear a chandelier for a look, even to the Met Gala, but lucky for all of us there is Katy Perry. The singer is known for some very interesting outfit choices in general, so it really did not surprise us to see her going with such an elaborate look for her Camp fashion.

And while her headdress seems like a perfect match to the body of her outfit, her shoes are something else. Now, I would say her shoes sing Cinderella but we’ll get to a look that best reps the princess in a moment.

For me, this look screams Beauty and the Beast with a chandelier twist. It certainly helps that the apparent bulbs of her outfit seem to light up giving her even more of a glow. I am all for a glow up, but even I didn’t expect it in such a literal way.

Although we definitely don’t think this look is going further than the Met Gala, it is definitely hard to turn away from such an eye-catching piece of wearable art.
