Men helped to steal the show on the pink carpet at this year’s Met Gala, and no one did it better than Michael Urie. He made a bold statement by wearing a look that was half dress, half pant suit.

But the actor did not stop there, as he also went with a pink heel on the side of the suit and a black motorcycle boot under the dress. And for his face, Urie opted to again mix it up with the suit side featuring a feminine aesthetic with makeup and hair that is a bit more elegant and refined. On the side of the pink dress, his face had the masculine vibe we expected to see on the suit side, thanks to facial hair.

Honestly, this is one look that is almost hard to comprehend because it does not match up with our mental expectations. We expect to see a certain aesthetic on each side of the body and seeing those ideas juxtaposed means it takes out brain a little longer to process the magic of this look.
