Where is Loki?

When the remaining Avengers start their Time Heist, things go awry in 2012 New York when Tony gets hit full-force by an angry Hulk. The Tesseract flies across the floor and lands at prisoner Loki’s feet.

And because he’s Loki, he picks it up and disappears. The team has to go back to 1970 to get the Tesseract instead.

So there is an alternate timeline where Loki is alive and well, off doing his thing, and didn’t get choked to death by Thanos. This very well could be the premise of the Loki series on Disney+.

Plus, it’s the only alternate timeline that’s theoretically still out there. …Theoretically.
