Bow’s dads

Bow’s dads are adorable. Apart from being the epitome of relationship, marriage, and parent goals, Bow’s dads are supportive of their son and everything he does. Even before they found out Bow lied to them about the Historian Academy because he didn’t want to let them down, they were hyper-invested in learning more about his friends and his life at school. They wanted to know more about his friends because they wanted to connect more with their son and his life while away at boarding school (even if he wasn’t actually attending boarding school).

The entire episode with Bow’s dads featured a heartwarming familial narrative. While Bow was afraid to tell his dads that he didn’t want to take on the family legacy of being a historian, his parents just wanted him to be happy. His dad immediately embraced his career path as a member of the Princess Alliance (along with a healthy amount of worry because Bow is going around fighting monsters and the Horde).

Watching his parents being so outwardly supportive of him makes us think Bow will be more open to his dads about his worries and problems in the future. Now, Bow has a lot less apprehension regarding his double life and trying to appease what he thinks his parents expect of him. We can’t wait to watch next season because we just know Bow will have an even stronger bond with his family now.
