Everywhere we look in the Spellman home, from Sabrina’s bedroom to the bathroom, there are pillar candles everywhere. This makes sense, as candles seem to be an essential part of magic and witchcraft.

While you may not be trying to cast a spell, there is nothing wrong with adding some pillars to your bedroom anyway. Just like in this picture, we are not just taking inspiration from the candle itself, but also from the pillar stands, which add an extra layer to the decor.

Among some of my favorite places to find both pillar candles and stands are Home Goods, At Home, and even Dollar Tree. Not only will you find unique options at relatively low prices, but because of how often stock rotates through the store, you might find the perfect item on a random shopping trip (of course, this also means that you could go and find nothing you love).

Another great option for pillar candles is Michaels. The craft store has a nice variety in different sizes and colors, with some even featuring glitter and jewels. You can opt for battery operated or a traditional wick candle as well.

The pillar I chose to highlight is the ivory Pillar Candle by Ashland. This one measures out to 2.75″ x 9″, which is a good size for a pillar candle that you want to stand out on a dresser or set of shelves. At $5.99 each, these are a great deal, and you can buy a few of them to create the look you want in your bedroom.

Since the pillar candle I chose is very simplistic in design, I figure the holder should pop, which is why the one I chose is the Copper Mercury Glass Pillar Candle Holder. At $21, this is still a budget friendly piece. Even if you buy a few different pillars, you don’t need to have a stand for each one. Snagging two holders and then having the other pillars placed on the top of the dresser, or wherever you are putting the candle display will add depth to the look, while also adding layers and height.

Have fun with the candles and the way you display them. Utilize different stands and levels to give a lot of depth to your display. There is no right or wrong way to rock the magical candle vibes.
