This week on The Twilight Zone, a town will meet a traveler from another dimension, and things will get scary.
After only three episodes under the reboot’s belt, The Twilight Zone reboot has already pushed us deep into the center of a parallel dimension, fit with socio-political commentary and terrifying horror elements. This week, Twilight Zone episode 4, “A Traveler,” brings us Christmas in April along with a lot of creepy undertones.
The fourth episode in the revived classic series takes place during a police station’s Christmas party. As the trailer for notes, their festivities are interrupted when a visitor (portrayed by Steven Yeun) suddenly appears in a jail cell. Nobody voluntarily spends the night in jail, so we can only assume this the traveler in his titular episode has some cryptic reasons.
Can we please talk about Yeun’s perfectly-timed neck crack at the end of the teaser? Beyond our post-neck cracking chills, we’re anxious just theorizing what the traveler’s plans are. After all, he has to have a reason for visiting that specific police station. Given the ambiguity of the episode’s synopsis, we won’t easily figure out any spoilers for “A Traveler.”
According to CBS All Access, an interdimensional traveler will pay a visit to a local police station:
"A mysterious man shows up in a jail one night and no one knows how he got there, so its up to one police officer to find out."
Taking place in Iglaak, Alaska, this week’s looking into another dimension seems to read like a murder mystery, and we’re excited to discover why the visitor made an unexpected pitstop in an unassuming town.
