Shadowhunters season 3 episode 18 live stream: Watch online

Spring may have sprung in the real world, but this week on Shadowhunters, it’s Halloween. The demons are out to play in New York.

Last summer at ABC’s Upfronts presentation, Freeform announced via Freeform Santa — aka our favorite pack leader Luke, aka Isaiah Mustafah  — that Shadowhunters would have a Halloween episode.

Naturally, this brought a ton of excitement; a show literally about angels and demons is the perfect Halloween episode set-up. Many hoped the show would follow the lead of Freeform’s  sci-fi series Stitchers (RIP), and make it a standalone episode, added onto the already planned season.

What we did not expect was that it’d be airing in April. But here we are! Tonight’s the night and things are bound to get a little crazy.

This week, Freeform’s synopsis is keeping it pretty vague:

"A demon outbreak in New York City on Halloween becomes a top priority at the Institute, but as the Shadowhunters hunt the demons, Jace becomes more worried about Clary. Meanwhile, Alec has to juggle the outbreak with his deep concern about Magnus’ depression."

Here’s what we know for sure. Thanks to Simon and Izzy, the Shadowhunters got their hands on Heavenly Fire serum. So this week, the splitting process could begin for Clary and Jonathan. After last week’s performance from Luke Baines, there’s no telling what kind of emotional wringer he’ll put us through.

We also know that Magnus is seriously distraught over losing his magic…again. According to the episode promo, Alec’s taking drastic measures to help, in the form of a trip to Edom to see Asmodeus.

Rumor has it there will even be musical numbers!

Okay, maybe not that last part, but we can dream, can’t we? Regardless, with only three episodes remaining in the series, things are definitely going to be heightened.
