The end of Game of Thrones is almost here. But what will happen to our favorite characters? We run down a few predictions for Arya Stark’s final season.

It’s the end of an era. The final season of Game of Thrones is here. (Well, almost.) After seven seasons of shocking deaths, complicated twists, dragons and family drama, we’ll finally know who – if anyone – claims the Iron Throne at the end of it all. We’ll also find out who survives the massive body count that this show is likely to run up during its final six episodes. Will our faves make it? Who will we have to say goodbye to before the final credits roll?

Fan favorite Arya Stark has been on a wild journey throughout the show’s run. She started off as a tomboy, eager to become something different than the world would have her be. Over the course of the series, she’s run for her life, committed murder, disguised her identity, been kidnapped by a variety of weirdos and rogues, and become a professional trained assassin. Oh, and compiled an extensive kill list of her enemies. (Most of whom are now dead.)

It’s a long way from working on her sewing at Winterfell in season 1, that’s for sure.

Arya does end up back at her family home in season 7, a different, harder person than she was when she left it but with violent work still left to do. What fate awaits Arya as Game of Thrones winds down? Is it even possible for her to have anything like a happy ending?
