Zelda’s trance

You may not think that Zelda being under Father Blackwood’s powers would be a spooky moment, but the reality is that it truly is so creepy. He literally turned this strong, independent woman into a Stepford Wife. The weird blankness in her expression, even when dealing with her family, was spooky in its own way. And the fact that she was controlled by a music box just added to the awfulness of the moment.

The woman in the caves

The woman in the caves that Theo and Harvey run across in the middle of the night has to be one of the spookiest things we saw all season. Not only did she lure Harvey in, but if it hadn’t been for Theo, he might not have made it back out of those caves. Honestly, she was truly scary in the best ways possible. And even though she was quickly dispatched, she was still worthy of a jump.
