Kit Harington is bringing House Stark to Saturday Night Live on April 6. He’ll be joined by musical guest Sara Bareilles.

Prepare yourself, Saturday Night Live fans, Kit Harington is coming. It’s only appropriate that he’s making his SNL hosting debut of course, because the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is right around the corner.

Of course, this means we’re hoping for a Game of Thrones parody sketch from the SNL cast, because otherwise, they’d just be waisting Harington’s time. SNL has done Game of Thrones-like sketches before, including “Game of Game of Thrones” and (most recently) a Khal Drogo-themed sketch with host Jason Momoa.

If you are hoping for a Game of Thrones parody sketch, you aren’t alone. SNL’s very own Leslie Jones is also very animated about Game of Thrones and, luckily for her, she gets to have the Jon Snow spend the week with her at 30 Rock. When it comes to the cold open, it’s been another week where Donald Trump (thankfully) hadn’t done anything that bordered on “simply outrageous.” With last week’s creative cold open going all out with Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller and Alec Baldwin Trump, I wouldn’t be opposed to them taking a small break from the political cold opens to do something different.

It’s safe to say, SNL has me stumped on how they’ll open the show this week, and that’s a good thing. Predictability is boring, so anything to shake things up is always welcomed.
