For the BAFTA tea party in Los Angeles in January, Lupita Nyong’o wore a stunning sleeveless wool blend dress by Jonathan Cohen that was actually named after her. While the dress sold out not long after it went on pre-order, we think there are a number of lovely options out there that will give you a similar look as what the actress rocked.
What I love about this look is how it feels perfect for any number of occasions and seasons. This may not be a summer dress, but it is certainly perfect for fall through spring. That fact that Nyong’o paired the dress with heels in a solid color that matched the primary color of this dress certainly made this look complete.
I can see this dress being perfect for work, date night, or Sunday brunch. This really is a versatile look that can go from day to night, depending on how you choose to accessorize it.
With the fashion season heading into spring and summer, it is not necessarily as easy to find a wool blend bouclé dress, but that didn’t stop us.
