Justin Timberlake – “Mirrors”
Justin Timberlake has no problem opening up about his album, Man of the Woods, specifically sharing that the songs included are all inspired by his family, specifically his child and wife. He made it clear that the entire album is quite personal for him.
When it comes to “Mirrors”, Timberlake has shared that this song is about his wife, Jessica Biel, and the marriage of his grandparents, which makes sense since the entire song is about finding the person who is essentially your other half.
While Timberlake has been talking about his family for years in his music, the singer has no problem making it clear how he feels about Biel in “Mirrors.” Based on the lyrics to the song it is clear that he is truly in love and has found the one who is his perfect match.
As part of the chorus to the song, Justin Timberlake tells the world, “I’m looking right at the other half of me. The vacancy that sat in my heart is a space that now you hold.” Of course, we can’t forget the very straightforward lyric of “you are the love of my life,” which is a clear indication that we are listening to Biel and Timberlake’s love story.
And just like John Legend was all about Chrissy Teigen in “All of Me,” clearly Justin Timberlake was ready to offer up his own love song for Jessica Biel, and we are all about that.
