Beyoncé – “Blue” and “God Made You Beautiful”
As the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter was always going to be famous in her own way. And of course it always helps if both of your parents release singles that are not only dedicated to you, but are about you. Beyond that, the fact that Blue guests on these songs certainly helps to propel her fame even higher.
The specific songs that Beyoncé released inspired by her daughter are of course “Blue,” and also “God Made You Beautiful.” With “Blue,” not only did the lyrics make it clear who the singer was inspired by, but having her featured on the song was a beautiful tribute in its own way. And considering it is an expression of Beyoncé’s love for her daughter, as she makes it clear that she will love her forever, we think this is a truly inspiring and inspired piece of music.
Of course “Blue” is not alone in being a song inspired by Blue Ivy, as there is also “God Made You Beautiful.” In this song, we have the singer once again giving her all as she sings about her love for her child. With lyrics like, “When you were born, the angels sighed in delight,” it is clear that Blue has captured her mother’s heart and we are all the better for it.
Honestly, there is something to be said for any song inspired by a child. The relationship between a child and their parent is supposed to be special and with both of these songs, it is clear that Beyoncé understands the magic that is parenthood. We love both of these songs and find our own inspiration in the beauty of these lyrics.
