Minnie Mouse has her own Instagram account and it’s as cute as you’d expect

Minnie Mouse is celebrating her 90th birthday in style — by launching her very own Instagram account. And yes it is as cute as you would expect it to be.

Over the last 90 years, Minnie Mouse has been one of the most recognizable faces of Disney. Whether on her own or standing at Mickey’s side, Minnie is very much her own powerhouse. And even though we often think of Mickey first when talking about the House of Mouse, that doesn’t mean we ever forget about our beloved Minnie Mouse.

Now, we never have to forget about the true leading lady of Disney because she just launched an Instagram page. Let’s just say she knows how to rock the social media platform.

In less than 24 hours, she posted not one, but nine different posts (pictures and videos). And not just that, and has amassed over 100,000 followers.

Considering Minnie Mouse is technically a senior citizen (though she doesn’t look it), it’s clear she knows how to utilize social media to her advantage. And considering how hard it can be to get an Instagram account off the ground to begin with, I think maybe some of us need to take lessons from Minnie, as she clearly knows what she is doing.

Plus, can we just point out how cute every picture she posted is? Whether the image makes her look sassy or sweet, each post shows off a side of Minnie Mouse that we already know and love. While each picture can be viewed on their own, if you check out the Instagram page on a computer, you’ll notice that all nine pictures line up perfectly to form one complete image as well, which just goes to show us all that perhaps a mouse knows how to use Instagram better than we ever will.

Oh and let’s not overlook the fact that there are already permanent stories on Minnie’s page. This account might be brand new, but it looks like its been in the works for a while.

As a fan of Minnie Mouse, this Instagram account is more than just fun, it is also nostalgic. It is a reminder of childhood memories, and I am all for that. And yes I am one of those many followers, because after all, this is Minnie the original Disney princess.
