Goodbye Rosewood, hello Beacon Heights. Tonight, a whole new mystery starts to unfold on Freeform.

Pretty Little Liars is over, but we’ll never forget the lessons it taught us. The biggest one etched in our brains? Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead. We saw some dark times in Rosewood, but tonight all that changes.

Well, okay, only the location changes. With the premiere of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, it seems we’re in for more darkness, this time in Beacon Heights.

Here’s how Freeform sets things up in its official  synopsis:

"Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from its top-tier college to its overachieving residents—but nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. When the high-stakes environment pushes the residents to a breaking point, someone snaps and kills someone. As they work together to solve the murder mystery, it soon becomes clear that behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie—and a needed alibi."

Luckily, we’ve got some familiar faces on hand, and they’re experts in dealing with murder. Both Ali and Mona have made the move and will be around to help these new characters. At least, Ali will. It’s impossible to know when or who Mona will choose to help out.

Among those newbies are Ava (Sofia Carson), Caitlin (Sydney Park), and Dylan (Eli Brown). Just like the original little liars, each one has a secret they need to protect.
