RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 episode 3 live stream: Watch online
What would a drag queen be without an extensive knowledge of pop divas? That knowledge will come in handy on this week’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, when the queens host their own diva worship talk shows!
Can you say “quick drag? On this week’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, we get another quick drag mini-challenge that is sure to make you laugh. The queens have to schmooze their way into a Seduction concert — the girl group that featured Michelle Visage — with their powers of persuasion, and Ru working the back door. They have to sweet talk their way in any way they can, and the most persuasive queen wins.
That pop star theme carries over into the main challenge, where the remaining contestants are going to be worshipping some iconic divas. The two teams will be hosting evangelical talk shows (or “she-vangelical”) where they teach audiences all about the holy gospel of the diva of their choice. Now that’s a religion I can get behind!
With so many big personalities, it’s sure to be an interesting challenge. Evangelical TV personalities are known for being over-the-top, so the key will be to not go too overboard, which might be hard for a queen like, say, Silky Ganache.
On the judging panel this week is queer pop heartthrob Troye Sivan, who definitely appreciates a good diva moment, and Scandal star Guillermo Diaz, who also knows a thing or two about divas –he’s been in a Britney Spears video! Will the judges be singing glory, glory hallelujah, or will it be a silent night for these she-vangelical divas?
