We have a new full-length trailer for Amazon’s upcoming Good Omens series, and based on this new video, it looks like a party is coming to the apocalypse.

The newest trailer for the Amazon Prime series Good Omens is here (finally). And based on what we see, it looks like the show is sticking true to the source material written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

With David Tennant and Michael Sheen bringing to life the characters of Crowley and Aziraphale respectively, we already knew we were in for a real treat. And while the first trailer gave us a hint of what was to come, this full-length trailer does so much more. In fact, it brings the party to the apocalypse (words I never thought I would say).

If you are unfamiliar with the story, Crowley is a demon and Aziraphale is an angel. These two live on Earth and have since the very beginning of time (or so it seems). Over the years, these two opposites have gained a mutual respect for each other that is as close to a friendship as an angel and a demon can get. And now that the end of days is upon them, they want to put a stop to the apocalypse because they have grown fond of their Earthly home.

With two warring factions looking to be the winner in a war to win the apocalypse (yes I know how that sounds), it is going to be up to Crowley and Aziraphale to put a stop to the end of times. The problem is how do an angel and a demon work together to stop what seems like the inevitable, especially with Jon Hamm as the archangel Gabriel there to remind Aziraphale of his duties.

What makes this trailer so exciting is that not only does it feel true to the books, but they really are bringing the party to the apocalypse. We are talking a missing anti-Christ that both sides are trying to find, the four horsemen of the apocalypse on motorcycles, excellent music (talk about an earworm), tornadoes in England, and an unlikely friendship.

Plus, there is no one else we would want to see play Crowley than David Tennant, who is quirky, brilliant, and just all-around perfect as a demon looking to save the world. And then there is Michael Sheen, who plays a bumbling angel with wit, charm, and such devotion that we can believe he is Aziraphale.

I mean, these two make the apocalypse look good… and that’s also something I never thought I would say. They are the perfect blend of outrageous and captivating to make you think that Good Omens might be our next perfect binge watch. And who wouldn’t want to party with an angel, a demon, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?

Good Omens truly looks like it is going to live up to the original material, while also breathing new life into these characters and the story. And the fact that they have such a stellar cast to make it happen is the icing on the cake. Whether we are talking about Sheen and Tennant or Hamm and the recently announced Benedict Cumberbatch who is voicing the devil, this cast has the acting chops to make this series one of the best apocalyptic parties ever.
