When it comes to more casual looks, this outfit that Emily Blunt wore during a press conference for Mary Poppins Returns is definitely picture perfect. While this combination might not have been something we would have put together on our own, we think this is a good look for any type of casual outing.

From the brown suede skirt to the crepe top with red and white stripes, we think this look is perfectly put together. Of course, it’s all pulled together with lovely white flats that are embellished with just the right amount of bling to make this dressed up enough for any occasion.

What we love about this outfit the most is the striped look, which is why when we were looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the striped top Blunt is wearing, we went with a more universally flattering option. Instead, we chose the Peter Nygard Diagonal Stripe Top from Dillard’s. The fact it comes in both a black and red stripe, as well as a black and white stripe means you could snag both for added versatility. And with the top reduced from $59 to $35.40, you won’t break the bank going with this option.

When it comes to the suede skirt the actress is wearing, we went with a vegan option from Lulus. The Chic Tan Pencil Skirt in brown suede from Lulus is an inexpensive option that looks good and would be perfect for almost any option. And at $37, you could snag it in both colors and still not break the bank. And whether you pair these two pieces together in a manner similar to Blunt’s ensemble or wear these separately, you will be giving your wardrobe a boost.

While the actress paired her skirt and top with a pair of white flats, we think this look would also be good with heels or even boots. I personally would pair this look with simple heels, but any of these styles would be good, even simple white sneakers, like Keds.
