RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 episode 1 live stream: Watch online
Gentlemen, start your engines, a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is here! A fresh crop of queens are entering the work room, so who will come out on top?
It feels like just yesterday that RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars was wrapping up — oh wait, that’s because it was only two weeks ago. Let’s forget about that questionable double crowning and move right on to season 11!
A brand new group of queens have sashayed their way into RuPaul’s work room, and this year, it’s all about family, or at least it feels that way. Several queens from the House of Davenport will be joining the ranks of Drag Race royalty, which may ring a bell thanks to the late Sahara Davenport from season 2. There’s also Kahanna Montrese, drag daughter of season 5’s Coco Montrese, Plastique Tiara from the House of Edwards (yes mama, she’s a descendant of Alyssa!), and Ra’Jah O’Hara, who’s a member of both the Davenport and the O’Hara drag families!
Besides being a bunch of family fun, this season has two Asian queens competing together on the same season — a first on RuPaul’s Drag Race — with Plastique, who’s Vietnamese, and Soju, who’s Korean. Season 11 is also welcoming the show’s first Canadian queen, Brooke Lynn Hytes, who has an extra Canadian entrance (eh?). Plus, there’s a familiar face coming back: Miss Vaaaaaanjie!
In typical premiere fashion, the new queens will be welcomed into the workroom then have their first challenge: a photo shoot to see who’s got it, and who definitely does not! With special guest judge Miley Cyrus joining the panel, who knows what wild antics could go down.
